The North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC) focuses on remote sensing, satellite communication, and GIS that dedicatedly served the eight states of India's North Eastern Region for more than 20 years with the aid of space science and technology. It was created by the collaboration of The Department of Space (DOS) and the North Eastern Council (NEC).
